About the Role
The Senior Staff Accountant provides accounting support. This position requires senior-level experience in accounting for construction contracts, attention to detail, and knowledge and experience in general corporate accounting functions. It will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
What You Will Do:
Ensure costs and revenues are recorded accurately for each project.Preparing and posting journal entriesClosing financial periods every monthAssist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.Perform bank and other general ledger account reconciliations.Assist with annual audits as well as periodic insurance audits.Assist with the preparation of reporting for accounts payable.Assist with preparation and updating procedure guides.Support of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.Serves as a Tendit cultural example and upholds integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.Performs other duties as assigned.What You Will Need:
Must have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.3-5 years experience in a similar role.Must be eligible to work in the United States.Must be at least 18 years of age.Must have experience with multiple ERP systems and accounting software. Previous experience with Netsuite software is preferred.Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process improvement mindset.Ability to prioritize, manage time, and delegate as required.Strong partnership and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders with a curiosity to understand the business.Ability to quickly adapt to changes in the work environment.A willingness to learn and a desire to advance their career in accounting.Ability to quickly adapt to changes in the work environment.We've got you covered.

Compensation for this position is $90,000 - $115,000 annually, depending on experience.
