OVERVIEW
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and supervision of the warehouse, ensuring that these operations meet or exceed performance expectations. The individual is also accountable for maintaining data integrity for all materials received into and deployed from the warehouse. All tasks must be completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
· Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities
· Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory and deliveries
· Conduct physical counts of products and reconcile data to maintain adequate inventory levels
· Develop and monitor procedures for safety and security of the warehouse and all goods
· Inspect all warehouse equipment and order repairs and replacements when required
· Process, pack and ship orders accurately and timely
· Maintain inventory levels and restock as needed – communicate to Project Managers
· Inspect products for damages and report as needed
· Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse
· Define warehouse SLA’s and SOP’s
· Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet departmental schedules and requests
· Identify areas of improvement
· Escalate issues promptly and effectively
· Receive and appropriately sort and store incoming products
· Schedule material pickup with delivery partners and other departments
· Prepare material for shipment by Federal Express and UPS
· Work with third party trucking firms, Fedex, UPS and local logistics companies
· Reconcile all freight bills
· Utilizing NetSuite to streamline processes and reduce manual tasks
· Release product to configuration area as required
· Control and organize storage and inventory space
· Maintain warehouse equipment, forklifts, pallet lifts, mail machines
· Communicate position expectations and train employees
