You'll streamline processes, boost efficiency and lead a game-changing strategy for our fastest-growing sector.What your day-to-day will look like:Lead the management of 4PL warehousing operations, which are critical to the company's pipeline, ensuring high standards of efficiency, productivity and profitabilityStreamline processes across multiple offices to enhance operational synergy, leveraging advanced technologies and best practices to improve workflow and productivityBuild and implement commercial strategies to drive growth in the 4PL warehousing sector, identifying opportunities to increase market share and revenueMonitor and improve financial performance, including year-over-year growth in gross margin for the 4PL warehousing business, ensuring profitability goals are met or exceededManage a team of operators who oversee the day-to-day operations of 4PL Warehouse accounts, fostering a collaborative, high-performance cultureLead efforts to establish a dedicated branch for tracking and managing progress in 4PL warehousing and internal initiatives, setting clear goals and metrics for successDevelop and maintain strategic multilevel relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and behaviors to create tailored solutions and strengthen partnershipsServe as a sales leader within the region, driving revenue growth, margin and profitability for all 4PL warehouse focus accounts; represent upper management, motivate teams and share best practices to encourage successDetermine the potential of key accounts, develop corrective strategies for under-penetrated and unprofitable accounts and create action plans to maximize market shareDrive collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop comprehensive warehouse solutions, ensuring alignment and synergy across the businessProvide guidance and expertise to support RXO facilities, particularly in key locations such as Miami and Laredo, enhancing operational capabilities and outcomesWhat you'll need to excel:At a minimum, you'll need:Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience5 years of experience within the transportation, logistics and supply chain industryIt'd be great if you also have:Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Project)Availability to work a flexible schedule including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends and travel as neededAbility to analyze operational and financial data to make informed decisions, identify trends and create data-driven strategies for growth and improvementFamiliarity with implementing digital solutions in warehousing and logistics operations, such as warehouse management systems (WMS) or automation tools, to drive efficiencyExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage difficult customer conversationsStrong ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships, both internally and externallyUnderstanding of regulatory requirements in warehousing, transportation or supply chain management to ensure compliance with relevant laws and industry standardsIn this role, you'll be supported by a passionate team motivated by fast-paced innovation and the desire to deliver for customers.
