This position offers a unique opportunity for early-career attorneys with up to one year of litigation experience to gain hands-on experience in various phases of litigation, including discovery, law and motion practice, oral arguments, and depositions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advocating for consumer rights and eager to develop into a skilled litigator, all while working in a hybrid environment with direct mentorship from senior attorneys and partners.Duties

Work closely with senior attorneys to manage consumer litigation cases against automotive manufacturers and dealers.Draft written discovery requests, review responses, and engage in document production and e-discovery.Conduct law and motion work, including drafting motions and handling disputes related to discovery.Prepare for and participate in oral arguments on discovery disputes, case management, and procedural challenges.Attend and defend client depositions, with opportunities for growth into handling higher-stakes depositions and trial preparation.Collaborate with the litigation team to develop case strategies and maintain client communication.Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing with the California Bar.Up to 1 year of litigation experience as a licensed attorney.Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Proficiency in MS Office, Westlaw, and Outlook.Willingness to learn and work with technology in a paperless environment.Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus but not required.Ability to travel within California for court appearances, depositions, and vehicle inspections.Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Skills
