Job Overview:
A recruiting firm is seeking a motivated Civil Litigation Attorney on behalf of a highly respected boutique law firm in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, with at least three years of hands-on experience. This role offers the opportunity to manage cases from start to finish, including trial preparation, discovery, and motions, while working in a dynamic and creative litigation environment.Duties:Handle all aspects of civil litigation cases, including trial preparation, court appearances, and discovery.Engage in trial proceedings and manage cases through to resolution.Draft and file motions and other legal documents.Negotiate settlements and work toward favorable outcomes for clients.Develop and execute creative litigation strategies to handle complex cases.Collaborate with team members to brainstorm case strategies and best practices.Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation.Strong negotiation skills and case management experience.Ability to handle all phases of trial preparation and litigation independently.Experience with court appearances and trials is required.Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple cases simultaneously.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in the California State Bar.Skills:Strong legal research, writing, and case analysis skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to think creatively and apply innovative approaches to litigation.High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.Capable of working independently with a proactive and results-driven mindset.Company info
