Job Overview :A leading law firm in Honolulu, HI, is actively seeking a qualified Evictions Attorney to support eviction litigation for a diverse clientele. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage legal expertise in a collaborative, tech-driven environment to handle a variety of eviction cases. Prior experience in eviction litigation is a plus, as the role prioritizes strong research, case management, and courtroom skills. Candidates must be licensed in California, with additional state Bar memberships preferred.Duties
Oversee eviction caseloads, providing legal guidance to clients and managing case processes.Draft essential legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings.Stay updated on eviction law trends across the U.S. and educate clients accordingly.Requirements
Licensing : Active membership with the California State Bar.Experience : Minimum of 1 year of legal practice; experience in eviction, foreclosure, litigation, or title preferred.Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications
Active California Bar license; additional state Bar licenses are advantageous.Skills
Proficient in written and verbal communication.Strong legal research and analytical skills.Effective advocacy and negotiation abilities.Skilled in multitasking and managing multiple projects efficiently.Organized with the ability to handle fast-paced eviction timelines.Capable of problem-solving and working independently.Team-oriented with strong client relations skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).Job Location
