This role involves handling eviction matters with a focus on partnership, integrity, and innovative approaches. The firm provides extensive legal support to financial clients, including banks, credit unions, and other commercial entities, with a strong commitment to legal excellence.Duties
Facilitate eviction caseload and provide informed legal advice to clients.Conduct legal research and draft legal documents (complaints, motions, discovery requests, etc.).Represent clients in court hearings; prior courtroom experience is advantageous.Stay informed on changes and trends in eviction law across the U.S.Educate clients on legal updates and industry developments in eviction law.Requirements
Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership with the California State Bar.Minimum of 1 year of practicing law.Preferred experience in eviction, foreclosure, litigation, or title law.Education
Bachelor’s Degree and JD from an accredited institution.Certifications
Member of the California State Bar, maintaining all licensing and continuing education requirements.Additional state Bar licenses are advantageous.Skills
Proficient in written and verbal communication.Strong legal research, advocacy, and negotiation skills.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks within a case management system.Capability to work at a fast pace, adhering to timelines and client expectations.Strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and independence.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
