Duties include but are not limited to:
- Drafting pleadings and forms, including Probate, Estate, Trust, Guardianship and Conservatorship Pleadings, affidavits, and motions,
- Working with and conversion of Potential clients,
- Possible overseeing Mass Health long-term care applications,
- Drafting Estate planning documents including Wills, Trusts and Special Needs Trusts.
- Performing legal research,
- Working with clients
- Court appearances including both emergency and regular hearings, filings, reviews, and status conferences,
- Case management,
- Capabilities in working with numbers in Excel and experience or capacity in drafting Probate Accounts
- Assisting with Mental Health Publication for Mass Practice
Experience and Qualifications:
- Ideally Minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience required
- Massachusetts bar license required
- Possesses a strong work ethic
- Exhibits empathy to clients
- Has a passion for this area of law
- Has excellent critical thinking abilities
- Has exceptional writing and drafting techniques
- Has strong legal and research skills
- Possesses excellent communication skills
- Has excellent drafting skills, attention to detail and is results driven
- Follows established processes
