1240 Systems Analyst C. Advanced The Department of Children and Families (the "Department " or "DCF ") is seeking qualified candidates that will assist the Office of Information Technology (OITS) in their daily operations, support, and services. The services requested in the following Request for Quote (RFQ) will be procured in accordance with the Department of Management Services (DMS) State Term Contracts (STC), entitled Information Technology Staff Augmentation Services, 80101507-23-STC-ITSA.

The term for this staff augmentation position is intended to be until June 30, 2025. The term for this engagement may be extended for a period not to exceed twelve months from the expiration of the State Term Contract contingent upon funding and satisfactory performance. The Department may select one or more candidates in this position. Candidates available immediately are preferred. Candidates can either work part-time or full-time. The number of weeks is dependent upon available budget. Advanced (STC Job #1240 Systems Analyst, C. Advanced).

The activities this candidate will be tasked with include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Analyzing defined business rules and functional requirements 2. Updating system documentation to ensure it reflects the current system version. 3. Evaluating enhancement requests and providing estimates 4. Designing technical solutions using the Visual Vault SaaS product 5. Creating test plans and test scripts to verify system modifications are error-free and perform as designed. 6. Facilitating user acceptance testing 7. Documenting the results testing activities 8. Deploying software updates

2.2 Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) The submitted candidate must be able to apply common knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas:

Minimum Required KSAs: 1. Skilled at working with the Visual Vault SaaS product. 2. Experience with establishing and maintaining business process workflows. 3. Ability to construct effective test plans and test cases. 4. Ability to communicate business information effectively and in writing to users and information technology personnel. 5. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. 6. Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language. 7. Exceptionally self-motivated and directed. 8. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills 9. Excellent written and oral communication skills 10. Excellent interpersonal skills 11. Ability to write technical documentation. 12. Knowledge of OITS applications, infrastructure, and general business principles, practices, and procedures.

2.3 General Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) The submitted candidate(s) must be able to apply common knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas:

Team Building: Encourages, inspires, and guides others toward accomplishing the common goal. 2.4 Education and Certifications Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. 3. Exhibit E - Resume Self-Certification Form Per the IT Staff Augmentation STC: When submitting a response to an eQuote the Vendor shall submit with its response a signed Resume Self-Certification Form (Exhibit E) to the Customer for each candidate included in the eQuote response. Work Location Location: The Department of Children and Families reserves the right to discuss with the selected Vendor if the position will be full-time or remote.
