THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D2162000, part of the KS 190 Air Refueling Wing, National Guard.Responsibilities:Manage and administer the Intrusion Detection System (IDS) program.Advise the MAJCOM SF IDS program manager on base or site activities impacting the Integrated Base Defense Security Systems (IBDSS) program.Report and document all IDS maintenance requirements to the servicing maintenance organization.Monitor IDS false and nuisance alarms and coordinate with maintenance to resolve issues.Ensure sufficient spare parts and maintenance support for IBDSS equipment.Perform other duties as assigned.Work Schedule:
This position works on a 5/4/9 compressed work schedule. Work schedule is subject to change based on mission requirements.Telework:
