Work closely with and assist engineers in the conduct of various engineering assignmentsHands-on skill in optical instrumentation and metrologyDesign, build and test novel laser cavities and laser-based systemsCarry out basic work instructions that will help in understanding the fundamentals of the Company and also learn new thingsConduct limited scope testing under the supervision of engineersComplete assigned tasks on timeGather and assemble data for engineersMay be required to help in research in a particular fieldConduct design analysis and/or calculations under the supervision of engineersAssist engineers with appropriate design detailsMust have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to build a good networkPerform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering staff, methods, programs and practicesSupport, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organizationOther duties as assignedQualifications

High school diploma or GEDEngineering student; some progress towards engineering degreeMust have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to build a good networkMust be diligent, hardworking, and quick to learnRESUMES FOR THE SUMMER INTERNSHIPS 2025 WILL BE ACCEPTED THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2024

The pay scale for this position is $21.43/hour - $30/hour. The pay scale information is a general guideline only.
