Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Branch Manager to join our team. The position is primarily responsible for the overall HomeAmerican Mortgage (HMC) operations and profitability of an assigned Branch/Division(s). Responsibilities include recruiting, training, mentoring, and supporting highly qualified Loan Officers; maximizing product/pricing capabilities; monitoring and assimilating the Processing Center's Loan Officers Teams; overall integration of the business model; branch cost control and management; and ensuring efficient production that adheres to regulatory compliance and guidelines of mortgage loan origination.
ResponsibilitiesThe Branch Manager will participate in the business planning process and develop and implement business improvement initiatives at least annually. They will be the primary relationship manager for Richmond American Homes' (RAH) business units in the Region, attending or arranging necessary meetings and coordinating activities. This position will also plan, coordinate, and implement new business start-up within RAH expansion territories.
The Branch Manager is an integral part of both HMC's and RAH's Management Teams, and will be involved in special projects and operational meetings as requested.
Requirements
College degree required; finance or business preferred
7+ years experience in mortgage lending, with a strong emphasis in mortgage origination and loan processing
Operational experience required, including management of a significant branch operation
A background in origination and/or underwriting is helpful
Thorough knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA processing and underwriting guidelines required
Technical knowledge of mortgage banking compliance and investor guidelines
Knowledge of Encompass & Blend is preferred
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to analyze and implement corrective action
Excellent interpersonal skills required
This role will not be remote
