Job Description
We are currently hiring a
Business Development Manager for Sun Cruiser in Texas.
The ideal candidate must live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area but would be open to Houston or Austin for the right candidate.
*Please note that while this position is listed as "working remotely", our sales positions are field based and require you to live within the territory listed to visit accounts, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
The Business Development Manager for Sun Cruiser is responsible for increasing availability and visibility of this brand focused on the Class B network within their assigned distributor territory.
What You'll Brew:Execute internal sales objectives & improve account conditions using BBC systems and selling processLearn and be proficient in beer industry knowledge, brewing, and BBC product stylesHunt for new business opportunities while growing current business in multi unit chains and key accountsUtilize effective verbal and written communication with wholesaler, accounts, and coworkers including ability to deliver impactful presentationsUse internal and external data to plan and identify opportunities across the districtBuild strong relationships with wholesalers and retailers by providing leadership and training across defined geographyAssist in the develop Goals, Strategies, Objectives and Tactics for the defined districtManage budget for given district and account baseConduct monthly/quarterly Planning & Review meetings to benchmark current progress to goal and sell BBC objectivesIn trade selling that will result in 75% travel across the state of TXMay be the periodic requirement to work weekends and holidays to support the needs of the businessWhat Ingredients You'll Bring:
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of proven results-oriented experience in outside sales or within the food & beverage industryAn intense competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personalityValid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuouslyAbility to lift and move cases of beer frequentlyAbility to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point-of-sale frequentlyPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degreeExperience working with Class B NetworkExperience working with Spec'sLevel: 6
At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $66,300 and $103,800. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for an discretionary annual bonus based on company and induvial performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance
