IT Support Technician

Provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Respond to queries, isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues encountered by end-users.First line of contact for IT issues that come via the ticket system or phone system.Manage the configuration and installation of computer systems.Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network issues.Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.Setup and deploy IT equipment including laptops, desktops, tablets/mobile devices, printers, etc.Follow up with end-users to ensure issues have been resolved.All other duties as assigned.Minimum (2) years of experience in the field of IT, preferably with end user support.Associates degree in Information Technology, IT related curriculum or equivalent work experience, bachelor's degree preferred.Project Management experience.Familiarity with the ITIL framework is a plus.Knowledge of computer hardware and software systems.Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.Excellent communication ability, both written and verbal.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to move or lift IT related objects (Computers, Printers, Monitors, etc.) that weigh up to 50lbs.Spanish speaking or bilingual a plus
