Staff Accountant

LHH is partnering with a global client that is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team in Arlington, TX. This in-office position offers a salary range of $55K to $75K along with a comprehensive benefits package. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and enter general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
- Execute monthly close procedures and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Analyze financial statements and cost center expenses, addressing variances and providing insights.
- Assist with financial and tax audits, preparing and providing necessary documentation.
- Prepare tax data for state and federal tax filings.
- Document and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Participate in various special projects and support the accounting team's initiatives.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- At least 2 years of accounting experience.
- Strong analytical skills with experience preparing and posting general ledger entries.
- Ability to research and reconcile difficult accounts.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with an internal customer service focus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to meet assigned deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with employees at all levels, management, and external agencies.
- Proactive, independent, and eager to learn.
