Staff Accountant

LHH has partnered with a Service client to hire a Staff Accountant for an in-office position located in Addison, TX . The Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for financial closures and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Month-End and Year-End Close, Coordinate and execute month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, and make necessary adjustments.
- Conduct monthly flux analysis, account reconciliations, and ad-hoc transactional research.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, ensuring compliance and providing required documentation.
- Process Improvement and Systems Enhancement, Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and system enhancements to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
- Actively participate in system implementations or upgrades related to financial systems, offering subject matter expertise and user support.
- Team Collaboration and Leadership, Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff to foster their professional development and growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as finance, operations, and legal to support strategic initiatives and address financial matters.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing insights and recommendations on accounting principles, policies, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
- 1+ year of experience in full cycle accounting.

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
