Our client is seeking a Client Intake Coordinator to join our robust and growing practice. The primary focus of this position is to assist in onboarding new clients and matters for the Firm by managing conflict checks, new client creation, new matter creation as well as engagement letter drafting and client communications. This role will work directly with the Firm's partners and attorneys to ensure that clients are setup timely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working in a law firm setting, strong attention to detail, and an intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word. This position is a part of the finance team and reports to the Head of Finance.Essential duties and responsibilities:Process conflict checksCreate new clients and matters in all systemsDraft, send, receive, and file engagement lettersCommunicate with clients as neededTrain new attorneys and paralegals on client intake processMaintain client intake logFront desk backup supportManage word processing requestsRequirements:High school diploma is requiredOne year of law firm experience is requiredStrong knowledge of Microsoft OfficeProficient in English (oral and written)Ability to organize projects and execute in a timely fashionExperience working in a law firm setting preferredDetail-oriented and self-starterAbility to communicate with all levels of an organization
