Software Development Tester

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.SAir Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech IIJT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challengesWhat You Will Do With JT4 The Software Development Tester II will test and interpret telemetry data, develop automated testing scripts and programs, create and analyze post-test reports, and develop and execute integration tests that adhere to government regulationsDESIRED EXPERIENCE AND POSITION FUNCTIONS• Solid coding proficiency in C++, Python, and Linux shell• Assist in the design of system/software and associated design documentation, participate in design reviews, plan & execute, unit, integration, and system testing• Interpret customer requirements and create milestone presentations• Advise team on technical issues, develop and analyze the most appropriate approach to solve technical problems• Assist in maintenance and sustainment activities of system/software and appropriately document the design implementation• Expertise in using automated testing frameworks such as, QT Test, Google Test, or similar• Perform other job-related duties, as required DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS• DevOps tools and DoD documentation standards using Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Crucible, Bamboo, GitLab, Jama, or similar• js JavaScript based development frameworks such as React, Vue, Electron, Svelte, JavaScript or similar• Test frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, Mocha, WebdriverIO or similar REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE A bachelor's degree in an associated discipline and either 2 years of related experience or a master's degree in an associated discipline are required for this positionIn addition, a Computer Scientist II must possess the following qualifications:• Experience with computer-based systems and applications• Programming skills in languages used for job-specific programming tasks• Familiarity with the application of industry standard hardware and software design and documentation techniques• Familiarity with systems engineering and software development lifecycles• Effective verbal and written communication skills• Good planning/organizational skills• Ability to work under deadlines The incumbent must possess a valid, state-issued driver's licenseMust be able to obtain and maintain security clearanceMust be a U.ScitizenSALARY The expected salary range for this position is $128,960 to $135,200 annuallyNote: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will payJT4, LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offerBENEFITS• Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance•••Benefits Active on Day 1• Life Insurance• Health Savings Accounts/FSA's• Disability Insurance• Paid Time Off• 401(k) Plan Options with Employer Match• JT4 will match 50%, up to an 8% contribution• 100% Immediate Vesting• Tuition Reimbursement
