The Opportunity
The Implementation Specialist will work with members of the Implementation organization to ensure the quality of solutions being implemented on behalf of our payment clients. The desired candidate should possess knowledge of commonly used web testing technologies, concepts, and practices and have experience with test scripting and automation. This individual will be working with Project Managers and clients to build/test quality enterprise web applications in a fast-paced, customer centric environment.?
This is an onsite role in our Edmonton office working Monday through Friday.
What you Will doCollaborate in an Agile development process, across multiple simultaneous projects?Perform exploratory testing, develop test scenarios, and execute feature testing?Perform testing on new implementations, prior to User Acceptance Testing?Translate business solutions into requirements documentation?Work with team leads to help build the foundation of test automation?Role may also be assigned to review system capabilities and functioning post live date to help ensure product performance matches solution requirements.?Requirements
What you Will Need to Succeed
2+ years of experience testing web applications/systems?Ability to work comfortably and independently in a team environment?Understanding the Agile development framework with emphasis in the Scrum methodologies?Formal education in related field or equivalent in education and/or work experience?Basic understanding of programming languages such as C# and/or VB.NetBasic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, and SQL?Ability to understand and solve complex problems and concepts and make decisions based on given input?Exceptional troubleshooting skills?Sense of teamwork, great interpersonal skills?Ability to work with multiple internal teams and balancing competing priorities?Excellent written and verbal communication skills?
