This position actively participates in transformational initiatives related to IT Service Management (ITSM), including the ongoing definition and improvement of service management processes, and supporting tools. These processes, such as incident, change, problem, configuration, request, and service level management, are the backbone of our operations. The service management specialist's process analysis services are crucial in supporting our ongoing services and identifying areas for improvement. click here.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR (Desired Attributes)The most competitive candidates will possess the following attributes, experience, and knowledge:Current ITIL Foundations or DevOps CertificationCurrent Prosci Organizational Change Management CertificationExperience working with IT Service Management practices and processesExperience improving core operational activities, processes, and procedures for public or private organizationsDemonstrated understanding of Organizational Change Management (OCM) and how OCM relates to ITIL and IT Service Management (ITSM)Experience organizing and managing small projects, demonstrating the ability to plan, form schedules, execute plans, manage risks, and effectively close small projectsExperience working with cross-functional teams where building consensus and driving results is necessaryCommitment to valuing diversity and promoting inclusion.Required Minimum QualificationsA bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills;OR;Any combination of experience or education equivalent to three years technical-level experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.Required Certification:ITIL v4 Foundations Certification or the ability to gain the certification within six months of hireWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:A workplace that balances productivity with enjoyment and encourages learning and mentoring.Rewarding work in a fast-paced, creative environment with colleagues who are passionate about public service.Work/life balance, 11 paid holidays a year, and a
