Corporate Project Manager – Manufacturing

FPC of Hendersonville is seeking a driven and skilled Project Manager with a background in engineered materials or manufacturing for a key corporate role. Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, this role leads strategic projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to meet business objectives and consistently exceed customer expectations.Responsibilities:Develop and manage project plans, covering scope, timeline, budget, and resources.Lead and coordinate internal teams and vendors for seamless project execution.Ensure resources are properly allocated and available.Create detailed project plans to track progress.Identify risks and create contingency plans when necessary.Collaborate with internal and external teams to guide projects from start to launch through the stage gate process.Maintain comprehensive project documentation.Build and sustain relationships with internal teams, vendors, and sponsors.Use verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.Monitor progress, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.Ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.Measure performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.Communicate status updates to stakeholders.Lead project update meetings with SteerCo, at least quarterly or as needed.Manage relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (e.g. Engineering, Business Administrations, Manufacturing, Project Management, Science)Project Management Certification (PMP) or (CAPM)10 years related experience, including 5 years of project managementStrong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g. Agile, Scrum)Experience with R&DAbility to communicate effectively across different levels of the organizationBroad understanding of business, organization, and strategy developmentAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on demand is requiredCompetency with Planisware or similarProject Governance/Stage-Gate experienceUS Citizenship or Green Card Holder required
