Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Sales Planning Specialist to lead our efforts in expanding the presence in the Mexican market. This role is critical for strategizing product entry, establishing sales goals, and optimizing logistics for our new market development. The successful candidate will serve as the key contact between vendors and customers, overseeing sales performance, promotion plans, and overall sales logistics.
Job Description:Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for vendors and customers.Manage communications in the EDI system, addressing and resolving errors.Strategize and set pre-sales goals for the Mexican market, tracking progress on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Analyze daily sales results, identify performance gaps, and report to upper management.Generate detailed sales reports, including monthly closing orders and regional performance summaries.Prepare and distribute broker commission statements to customers.Collect and finalize weekly and monthly sales reports for all regions.Develop and implement structured promotion plans; monitor performance and budget for each region.Assess sales expenses and return on investment (ROI) to optimize promotional activities.Manage accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P), ensuring timely clearance of past due balances.Process sales orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions regularly (daily, weekly, monthly).Maintain open communication with customers and internal teams, providing accurate technical and sales information.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.2-5 years of relevant experience in sales planning, ideally within the food manufacturing industry.Proficiency in SAP, EDI systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.Bilingual (English and Spanish) is required.
