We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Operations in downtown Jacksonville, Florida!Our firm specializes in immigration law, family law, and criminal defense helping good people make their home in the greatest country in the world!We are searching for a proactive leader who is dedicated to delivering exceptional operational excellence at our Firm and ensuring the development and management of a large team to success. This is not a position for an office manager.Responsibilities
Holds team accountable based on measurable KPI'sManages office facilities and office supply inventoryAssists the Owner with recruitment, hiring, personnel, and general human resources operationsHandles training and onboarding for new employeesSupervises the work of the non-lawyer support staff and vendorsAdministers payroll (verifying work hours, leave time, overtime) and benefitsOversees the Firm’s case management, contact management, and document managementCreates, implements, improves, and ensures compliance with the Firm's policies and proceduresPrepares Dashboards and Status Reports for the Owner and future AdministratorManages Accounts Receivable and Accounts PayableCommunicates effectively with staff and ownerQualifications
Prior supervisory experience, preferably managing a staff of 20+ peopleExperience in employee engagement, leadership, supervision, and terminationExperience managing bookkeepers, accountants, and understanding financial controls, technology services, and other vendorsProven ability to manage projects to ensure they are resolved successfully, on time, and on budgetExperience in the implementation of policies, systems, and proceduresBi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plusCompensation
