As a National Business Development Manager for Road Logistics (NAM), you'll drive business development with a strong focus on the sales channel key account management (KAM). You'll work to achieve set net growth targets in partnership with the KAM team and make an impact to increase return on investment (ROI).
Your Responsibilities
Assess the Key Account Management (KAM) performance from previousyears and identify improvement areas.Analyze KAM portfolios and identifyfocus accounts (industries) based on Road Logistics capabilities andambitions/goals.Develop a compelling value proposition with globaltechnology and in partnership with the local operation teams.Support KAM teams in both customer initial approach (pitch) and identification of potential road business opportunities.Support the KAM teams in the customerengagement until tender is secured and collaborate with the tender management team to increase hit-rate.Your Skills and Experiences
Minimum of 5 years B2B business development experience.Minimum of 10 years industry experience within freight forwarding and transportation and logistics.Open to travel up to 50% where required for customer engagements (domestic and international).Bachelor's Degree.
