Depending on the location, the Parts and Service clerk will perform some or all of the functions listed below.

Pay rate: $19.00 - $28.52 per hourPay rate is dependent upon education & experience.

Prepares and enters ordersEnters hose rebuild information as requiredApproves invoices as requiredExpedites back orders from Caterpillar as requiredPrepares miscellaneous reports and graphs as requiredAssists in the distribution of computer generated reports and all daily mailFiles discrepancy claims with all vendors and insures accurate claim settlementsPrepares Caterpillar and management reportsProvides back-up support for answering Parts Department phones, forwarding the phone to the proper person, or entering a Parts order for the customerProvides general clerical and staff support for Parts Management and Service Manager as requiredOpens, tracks, and inputs data to work ordersMaintains work order fields, including detailed maintenance of notes, parts, labor, etc.Maintains records, logs, and filesDocuments approval/disapproval of repairsEnters, reconciles, and pays bills, including P-card and cash expensesCreates, checks, and mails invoices and reportsReviews work in progress reports to assure jobs are open no longer than neededOther administrative tasks as neededProvides back-up for various inventory control proceduresProvides back-up support for other parts department functionsReceives customer calls and walk in customers, obtaining all pertinent information needed to assistVerifies stock tagsAssists novelty customers, where requiredAssists with vendor returnsOther duties as assigned by managerPhysical Demands & Competencies:
