Directly supports PEO strategic planning and execution in support of Directorate wide initiatives and specific program activities as directed. Provides strategic counsel to the PEO and others on a range of issues from acquisitions to organizational management. Applies experience, coupled with strategic and critical thinking skills, to matters such as stakeholder management, strategic communications, acquisition strategies, and organizational management.Responsibilities include:Provide Acquisition Management support functions including Acquisition Strategy and Planning, Program Planning, Acquisition Knowledge Management Support, Acquisition Reporting, Assistance in Source Selection process, and general administrative support to a major DOD Space Program.Review program documentation for adherence to applicable policy/guidance, consistency in implementation, and realism in achieving a product suitable for the warfighter.Recommend program acquisition strategies IAW FAR Subpart 7.1 and promote increased efficiencies by collecting and analyzing acquisition lessons learned.Develop and provide multiple options for Government consideration to achieve identified goals, analyzing them for probability of success against cost, schedule, and technical performance.Advise and assist the Government in organizing Integrated Product Teams for each major product or work area.Participate in assessments of proposals solicited IAW FAR 15 and 16.505.Document program planning and execution, producing and reviewing acquisition documentation for public release.Provide agile methodologies for Program Management and Software Development efforts, ensuring no inherently government work is performed.Research, prepare, and edit communications for division-level review and approval.Collect and consolidate briefing charts into presentations, facilitating meetings and documenting action items.Manage assigned delta/division taskings using the Task Management Tool (TMT) and track action officer completion.Communicate critical taskers to delta/division leadership and assist staff with workflow and data management tools.Perform quality checks and manage preparation and submission of staff packages and correspondence.Job Requirements
Minimum/General Experience:
15+ years experience required; DoD Acquisition organization experience required; POM experience required. Relevant experience in Space Acquisitions, with Level 3 Program Management credentials.Required Education:
