Support strategic communications planning activities to include sustainment activities.Identify and analyze Directorate internal and external communications requirements and processes to determine the information needs of the Directorate and its internal and external stakeholders.Develop a plan to manage communications that aligns the information to be communicated with a Giver/Receiver matrix within the context of a business rhythm and distribution system using tools, techniques, and metrics that maximize communication effectiveness and efficiency.Upon Government approval of the plan in coordination with the Contracting Officer, identify the steps required to successfully implement the plan with the objective of minimizing disruption to Directorate activities.Upon approval of the implementation plan, perform those activities identified as being Contractor responsibilities within the implementation plan.Perform all support IAW the requirements of the approved Communications Management Plan (CMP).Collect metrics that are prescribed in the CMP to ascertain its effectiveness and efficiency in achieving Directorate communication objectives. Review the approved plan annually to identify areas for improvement using the metrics collected. Update and maintain the CMP as required.Upon approval by the PCO, selected Contractor personnel participate in the assessments of proposals solicited IAW FAR 15 and 16.505 as tasked by the Source Selection Evaluation Team.Ensure that no inherently government work is being performed and that all associated OCI mitigations are in place.Upon authorization by the Government, review Program Contractor proposals in accordance with request for proposal requirements, record findings, and provide them to the Government Technical Evaluation Board (TEB).Schedule, prepare, and participate in meetings at the appropriate classification level, such as Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, technical interchange meetings, working group meetings, process improvement meetings, etc., with Government and Contractor organizations.Attend meetings (in person) and provide support for time-sensitive and classified actions.Maintain calendar(s) of activities, meetings, and events for appropriate organizations.Plan and schedule meetings and events, including facilities, audio-visual, other materials/documentation, security requirements, and record meeting minutes, as necessary.Collect and provide read-ahead materials (briefings, biographies, resumes) for meetings and events.For executive-level meetings or events, make arrangements that are consistent with AFI 34-1202, Chapter 12, and AFPAM 34-1202, Chapter 12.Prepare presentation materials, special technical reports, and papers as requested, and provide the Government with copies of all materials presented at the meetings.Answer telephones, chat messages, e-mails, and other contacts; answer or forward messages and provide appropriate coverage as required; and redirect queries as appropriate.Research, prepare, and edit communications (IAW DAFH33-337 and DAFMAN 33-326) for division-level review and approval.Develop and provide newcomer training to include process framework and coordinating with appropriate subject matter experts.Within the Directorate electronic data environment (Teams, LiveLink, SharePoint, or equivalent), collect, store, and maintain Division (Delta) meeting minutes and action items; internal point papers, studies, and briefings presented to the Division (Delta) Chief.Directorate, Division (Delta), Branch and Section data management will be performed and maintained at the Division (Delta) level.Provide Executive Support Services including preparing reports, papers, briefings, and correspondence.Maintain appointment calendars and conference room schedules, schedule meetings and conferences, answer telephones, forward messages, and provide responses to routine queries.Assist in coordinating, consolidating, analyzing, distributing, and monitoring action items, suspenses, and responses.Provide inputs and recommendations regarding administrative and office management processes and procedures.Prepare agendas, reports, and briefings for staff meetings.Record the results of their activities to support the program and provide to the Government lead(s) upon request.Collect metrics on the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes and analyze those metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement.Recommend process changes to include the associated impact on process efficiency and implementation costs.Assist the Directorate with branding.Support existing external communications and public relation products.Conduct media surveillance (local/national media, trade/defense publications) and collect/disseminate information to the Director and his or her staff.Provide Directorate education, as well as outreach presentations and associated media requests.Review and assess all information and documentation for compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) in advance of release to international parties.Facilitate the planning, logistics support, and records disposition for Government and Contractor travel and meetings at overseas locations.Job Requirements

Minimum/General Experience:

15+ years experience required; DoD Acquisition organization experience required including TMT, SharePoint, Livelink, CCaR, SMART Tool. POM experience preferred.Required Education:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets, and fax machines.Physical Demands:

This is largely a sedentary role mostly sitting; however, some filing may be required. This would require the ability to move files or boxes with file data, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary, ability to lift up to 40lbs.Mental Demands:

Reading; communicate effectively (verbal and written); maintain emotional control and professionalism.
