Northrop Grumman Aeronautics is currently seeking a motivated and execution-oriented
Manager Programs 2
to join the RQ-4 Program Management Team. This position will support our Autonomous Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Targeting Business Unit in the Global Surveillance Division. This leadership role will manage the cost, schedule, and performance of a segment of overall portfolio efforts.
Responsibilities will include:
Ownership of projects and budgets
Management of program cost, schedule, performance, quality, and suppliers
Preparation of proposals, business plans, and operating budgets
Participating in the negotiation of contracts and schedule milestones
Creation and finalization of the program Statement of Work
Cultivating customer relationships
Conducting thorough risk & opportunity management practices
Leading cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT)
Measuring and reporting program performance
Delivering presentations to customers and stakeholders
Establishing and managing the program and subordinate baselines
Ensuring adherence to all internal processes and industry standards
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree and 10 years of related experience, OR a Master’s degree and 8 years of related experience.
Related experience includes project management, program management, engineering, and business management functions.
Experience with Earned Value Management
Ability to develop and manage schedules related to a major project or program
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing engineering teams
STEM degree
Knowledge of Northrop Grumman internal processes
Experience managing proposals and contracts
Experience working with High Altitude Long Endurance platforms such as RQ-4.
Salary Range:
$151,900 - $227,900
