Northrop Grumman Aeronautics is currently seeking a motivated and execution-oriented Manager Programs 3 to join the RQ-4 USAF Program Management Team.
The position will be based in our
Rancho Bernardo, CA
office.
The selected candidate will be the
RQ-4 Global Hawk Sustainment Program Manager
and will support our Autonomous Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Targeting (AISR&T) Business Unit in the Global Surveillance Division. This leadership role will have the responsibility of managing the cost, schedule, and performance of a segment of overall portfolio efforts.
Responsibilities will include:
Leading and directing cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality objectives.
Cultivating customer relationships to develop further opportunities within the customer community.
Establishing a program organization that effectively addresses customer requirements.
Measuring and reporting program performance.
Delivering presentations to customers, executive management, and other program stakeholders.
Participating in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions.
Creation, review, and finalization of the program Statement of Work.
Identification, distribution, tracking, and completion of program requirements.
Establishment and management of the program and subordinate baselines.
Development and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar methodologies.
Identifying, allocating, and managing program resources, including workforce planning.
Conducting thorough risk & opportunity management practices.
Managing Government/customer supplied property or information (GFE, CFE, etc.).
Managing suppliers to meet program objectives.
Ensuring program team understands and adheres to contract scope.
Resolving issues in accordance with business objectives and company policies.
Providing strategic vision for future program direction and growth.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related experience, OR a Master's degree and 8 years of related experience.
5 years of experience leading tasks on schedule, at cost, and achieving all requirements.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with U.S. Air Force sustainment, operations, and maintenance contracts.
Experience with High Altitude Long Endurance platforms such as RQ-4.
Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
STEM degree.
Salary Range:
$180,600 - $271,000
