As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our workforce receives responsive and comprehensive support in various HR functions, including employee relations, onboarding, engagement, benefits, and pay administration. You will play a vital role in creating a positive and supportive work environment for our employees, contributing to their professional growth and overall satisfaction. This position requires a strong focus on customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Support the company onboarding process; implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.Process bi-weekly payrollManage benefits enrollment and ongoing benefits management for employees; assist employees with benefits enrollment and provide ongoing support regarding benefits inquiries.Support the performance evaluation processCollaborate with the management team to offer guidance and support in handling disciplinary actions and terminations; attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.Handle employment-related inquiries from employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.Partner with respective departments to track and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.Processes background checks and employee eligibility verifications.Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.Administration of HR Systems; assist in creating and implementing a systematic approach to ensure the continued growth and success of our organization.Performs other duties as assigned.KEY RESULTS:
Achieve a 95% or higher rate of employees answering "Yes" when asked, "Are you confident your HR-related questions will be answered in a timely fashion?"
Establish efficient communication channelsPrioritize employee inquiries and consistently deliver accurate and timely responsesEnsure that every employee experiences "The Locke Experience" 100% of the time, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.3-5 years of experience in Human Resources roles.Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and regulations.Ability to travel to field locations as needed.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.Proactive problem solver with a customer service-oriented mindset.
