Basic Purpose and Scope:
The duties and responsibilities of a Parts Clerk include receiving materials and parts into the facility, maintaining inventory records, and dispensing the parts and materials to other workers in the company. Additionally, this position will record materials and parts out of the system when they are transferred to a department.

Perform all job duties and operations in a safe manner, while following all federal, state, and Litehouse regulations and policies - AlwaysCoordinate parts and supplies to support production and maintenance requirements. Receive and check out parts via computerized system and maintain parts/storeroom. Assist team members in locating and checking out parts - 40%Monitor inventory accuracy by cycle counting to prevent stock-outs. Input data to reflect current part numbers, pricing and information - 35%Process invoices in system for payment of goods received. Receive and post ordered parts - 20%Work with Maintenance Team Members in researching parts for rebuilds and contractor service visits - 5%Communicate effective verbal and written instructions with vendors and Team Members - OngoingResponsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor - OngoingOther activities and duties as assigned - OngoingSupervisory Responsibilities:
NoneMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO PERFORM WORK:
Education: High School Diploma/GED Strongly PreferredExperience: One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferredMust be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulationsAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, co-workers, vendors and/or contractorsExperienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)Experience with CMMS program preferredMust have strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to express ideas effectively and efficientlyAble to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentagesBasic accounting skills are a plusMust have excellent interpersonal, organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to establish & maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the companyTravel Requirements:
