Service Software Support Specialist

in

Downers Grove, IL.

The successful candidate will provide support to employees of EMCOR Mechanical Services (EMS) primarily, but not limited to the ERP software (COINS). This includes Service Management, Dispatch, Work Order Billing, Job Costing, and Accounting modules as well as the related service technician mobile applications. This position can be performed remotely from any location near an EMS Business location.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Work with a team to provide advanced support of existing and new software implementations related to the delivery of HVAC services, including but not limited to dispatch, service order management, billing, and service agreement/contract management.Conduct end user training both in-person and on a virtual platform and create user documentation to support training.Diagnose issues reported by users and find root cause and solutions, recording findings in EMCOR’s help desk ticket tracking software.Work with software developers to report bugs and test fixes.Work with a team to understand the business needs of EMCOR Mechanical Services operating companies and configure the software to best meet those needs, adhering to corporate standards as necessary.Participate in troubleshooting and testing of new software features and upgrades.Assist in maintaining user logins, passwords, and access within the ERP software.Transfer knowledge and train users on best use of feature/functions available in supported applications.Travel as required in support of the EMS operating companies to gain a more intimate knowledge of business operations, assist in software implementations, and train end users.Qualifications:Minimum two years of work experience using the COINS software or other HVAC service industry related software.Experience supporting or working in some or all of the following modules: Service Management, Dispatch, Job Cost, AR, Billing, and Work Order Management.Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.Must be able and willing to travel - 15%.
