AppleCare is seeking a Strategic Sourcing & Analytics Manager to support strategic planning, pricing validation, and commercial activities for after-sales service parts and modules. The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative and analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, and proven experience in developing scalable processes.DescriptionIn this role, you will design and implement solutions to achieve business-critical metrics in the following areas:COST ANALYTICS:
Analyze, synthesize, and interpret large data sets across multiple lines of business to inform and guide strategic business decisions. Identify exceptions and irregularities in data and present findings to senior management, facilitating actionable insights. Aggregate and summarize pricing records; publish findings to stakeholders across multiple departments.SUPPLIER ENGAGEMENT:
Oversee and manage the monthly vendor quote validation process, ensuring discrepancies are addressed with external partners. Extensive use of Excel and SQL is required. Perform claim validations with vendors, ensuring data integrity and compliance. Assist in vendor negotiations and provide analytical support for contract discussions.PROCESS & SYSTEM ENHANCEMENTS:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives aimed at enhancing pricing validation processes across all lines of business. Develop and implement a standardized pricing publication process in SAP for all business lines, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Create and maintain comprehensive process maps for the pricing validation function that can scale with the organization.Minimum Qualifications6+ years of experience, BA/BS degreeExperience working in Supply Chain, Operations, After-sales Service, or a related fieldStrategic mindset with a curiosity for understanding complex processes and large, ambiguous data sets.Understanding of Costed Bill of Materials and pricing strategies.Superb communication and interpersonal skills.Can build, grow, and develop key cross-functional relationships to be able to influence and drive projects.Ability to identify and solve complex supply chain issues.Presenting and leading executive communications.Advanced Excel and database management experience.Preferred QualificationsMasters' degree or MBA preferred.Strong ability to navigate large enterprise databases and develop models for querying and validating data.Advanced skills in SQL and Tableau.At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $151,200 and $268,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
