You'll need to be organized and proactive to the challenges of a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle ambiguity and build structure. You will work on developing and defining new service offerings, and ways to bring them to market in a way that is distinctly Apple. You will be responsible for leading the planning, development, implementation, and performance measurement of your programs.You will closely work with engineers, data scientists, and financial analysts to find opportunities, develop them into cases, and pitch them to executives. Once approved, you will work with project managers, designers, and software architects to bring those concepts to market. In partnership with experts from functional areas across Apple, your key responsibilities are to deliver:Market/Competitive intelligenceConsumer insights & trendsProduct concept/new feature ideation, business case, and strategic alignmentCustomer experience and system requirementsProduct performance monitoring & cost modelingPricing strategyGo-to-market executionNPI (Hardware) impact assessment and change managementThis job is very cross-functional and requires strong and effective communication to lead, empower, and influence large teams with competing priorities.Minimum Qualifications
5-7 years work experience as a technical product managerHands-on product management experience during all phases of the development cycleExcellent social and oral/written communication skills, with experience presenting to multiple teams and executive-level partnersBS or MS Engineering/Computer Science degree with equivalent work experiencePreferred Qualifications
Passionate about providing an outstanding customer experienceExperience in the consumer electronic insurance industry a plusIntellectual curiosity combined with a strong analytical ability and financial competenceUnderstanding of consumer service/insurance products, POS - as well as customer-facing solutions, strong plusMBAAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
