The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth impacts lives every day. We are a leading non-profit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Aquatics Director will lead the development and implementation of high-quality aquatic programs for the YMCA of Metro Fort Worth. The ideal candidate must have a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality programs combined with the ability to manage the administrative components of programming. Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary to ensure that the participants and families have an exceptional experience at the Y. Responsibilities include supervision and training of the program staff along with new and innovative ideas to grow and expand existing programming.Our mission and core values are brought to life by our culture. Join us and help transform lives!Education & Certifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience (or currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Program).Four or more years of program management experience, preferably in a YMCA or other nonprofit agency.YMCA Lifeguard and/or Swim Instructor Certification.LGI a plus.YMCA Team Leader Certification preferred.Experience & Background:High energy, positive, “can-do” attitude, flexibility, teamwork, attention to detail, and a high degree of initiative will help this candidate be successful.The ability to direct programs through leading both staff and volunteers, developing and monitoring budgets, and developing and marketing programs.This leader will also need the ability to connect and relate with diverse groups of people at all levels of the organization.
