– To be honest and open in relationships with others.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role as an Aquatics Director located in Westfield Indianapolis, IN. The Aquatics Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the aquatics program, including swim instruction, lifeguarding, swim lessons, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants. The Aquatics Director will also develop and implement aquatics programs and manage a team of lifeguards and swim instructors. This position will work in collaboration with Westfield Washington Schools in managing the Aquatic Facility.QualificationsAquatics and Swimming knowledgeLifeguarding certification (current or willing to acquire)Experience in managing and leading a teamExcellent communication and organizational skillsExperience in program development and implementationAbility to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentExperience in the YMCA or similar organization is a plusBachelor's degree in a related field is preferredWe act with intentionality to connect people to our cause.
