Tax Specialist $90k/yr + bonus

As a Tax Specialist, you'll work closely with the Tax Senior and team members to support tax functions across the company's funds, ensuring accurate and timely tax deliverables while upholding the firm's high standards of tax compliance and reporting.

What we offer:

Salary up to $90,000/yearBonus of 10-15%Exceptional benefits packageResponsibilities:

Calculate partnership taxable income, book and tax allocations, tax estimates, Schedule K-1s, and tax returnsAssist in month-end close processes, performing reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accountsDocument tax and accounting policies and proceduresEvaluate and enhance reporting processes and systemsConduct ad hoc analysis, research tax issues, and participate in operational improvements as neededQualifications:

BA in Accounting or Finance requiredCPA or MST in progress preferred1-3 years in public accounting focused on financial institutions' tax work (Big 4 or national CPA firms preferred)Familiarity with taxation of financial products, hedge/mutual funds, or investment companies preferredProficiency in advanced MS Excel; experience with Total Return accounting system (SS&C Globe-Op platform) advantageous
