Job Summary
This position is responsible for using benefit systems and processes that are essential to providing the full array of benefit offerings to the University community. As a subject matter expert for benefit systems, policies, and programs, this role will facilitate the processing, updating and problem resolution of benefits for faculty, staff, and students. Serve as a liaison between the HR benefits department and various inside and outside stakeholders to provide information, resolve problems and interpret system application to policies.
What We're Looking For:High School Diploma/GEDFour or more years of experience with employee benefits, interface files or other relevant experienceAbility to handle frequent interruptions, balance multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentialityStrong organizational and time management skills and attention to detailAbility to interpret policies and procedures to proactively resolve issues or improve processesAdvanced computer and related software skills to include Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, etcAbility to collaborate and communicate with individuals at all levels within and external to the university to support department needsAbility to identify problems and implement or recommend solutionsAbility to gather and analyze data to identify trends and propose a course of action based on findingsWhat Is Helpful:
Associate's degree in data analytics, business administration, healthcare administration, or a related fieldTwo or more years of experience providing data analysis for programs or projectsFamiliarity and experience with benefits systems, data analytics and medical terminologyAdditional Information:
