We are seeking an experienced Accountant eager to oversee our financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and multi-state tax filings. This role requires strong leadership skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and hands-on experience with inventory procurement and tax compliance. The ideal candidate will hold a master's degree in accounting, and familiarity with Sage 100 ERP is a plus.

Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.Manage and streamline inventory procurement processes in collaboration with the purchasing department.Handle multi-state sales tax filings, ensuring compliance with state regulations.Supervise payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy.Lead the accounting team, providing guidance, support, and professional development.Collaborate with the finance department to manage budgeting and forecasting processes.Ensure adherence to accounting principles, policies, and regulations.Assist in annual audits and work closely with external auditors.Utilize Sage 100 ERP (preferred) or other accounting systems for financial reporting and process improvement.SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:Expertise in multi-state sales tax filing.
Familiarity with payroll processing and related compliance.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Sage 100 ERP experience is a strong plus.Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
