We are seeking the following professional, offering a competitive base salary, bonus and equity compensation model.The Senior Manager - Human Resources will manage and plan the day-to-day Human Resources functions with a strong focus on organizational culture, employee and labor relations, recruitment, and coordinating employee onboarding, performance management, and workforce communications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations for all HR functions, and maintain policies and procedures accordingly.Standardize the company's hiring practices by identifying departmental needs and training hiring managers on effective and compliant strategies.Oversee recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews, conducting reference and background checks, and selecting candidates for vacant positions.Assist with management duties related to hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, safety, and addressing sexual harassment issues.Conduct onboarding processes to foster a positive working environment aligned with the company's goals.Maintain records for benefits plan participation, personnel transactions, performance reviews, and government reporting.Advise management on employee relations issues and handle inquiries related to policies, procedures, and programs.Prepare and communicate employee benefits information, including life, health, dental, and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, and leave options.Assist employees with benefit inquiries, resolve issues, and process enrollment forms, while notifying employees of any changes to benefit programs or government-mandated disclosures.Keep benefit plan materials updated.Investigate workplace accidents and prepare reports for insurance carriers.Liaise with legal counsel on employment matters, manage health and safety reports, and facilitate training programs.Support managers in developing accommodations and return-to-work programs for disabled employees.Conduct wage surveys within the labor market to ensure competitive compensation.Handle employee separations, including preparing documentation and conducting exit interviews.Actively engage with employees to address concerns and find solutions.Administer employee benefit programs and maintain employee files.Adapt company policies to local market conditions and establish evaluation, incentive, and training programs as necessary.QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of 3 years of generalist experience is required.A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, equivalent experience or education is accepted.Thorough knowledge of employment law and benefits packages.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).Certification in Human Resources (PHR or similar) is a plus.
