ABOUT THE POSITIONVHB is currently looking to hire a Project Accountant to join our New England Finance group. This position will ideally sit in Vermont or could be in any of the VHB office locations. Our team collaborates with both public and private clients in various industries such as transportation, real estate, institutional, and energy. Client and sub-consultant contract maintenanceAssistance with project setup, budgeting and monitoringAccounts receivable collection assistanceAssistance with research & resolution of client questionsSkills and AbilitiesExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environmentExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to think critically and problem solveMust be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and Adobe AcrobatQualificationsAssociate or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Management, or equivalent experienceDirect experience with AEC/Engineering/Construction or similar contracting/invoicing is preferredMinimum of 0-4 years of experience; 4+ years preferredExperience working for an Engineering/Architecture/Construction firm preferred.Knowledge of Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint or other similar financial applications a plusWe are VHB!
