World Wide Technology Holding Co, LLC. (WWT) has an opportunity available for a Cohesity Engineer (SME) to support our client located at Charlotte, NC – Onsite.
Title: Cohesity Engineer (SME)
Location: Charlotte, NC – Onsite
Duration/Type of Job: 12 Months
Overview: We are seeking a skilled Cohesity Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team on a one-year contract. This role will focus on designing, developing, testing, and deploying a global Active Directory recovery solution in collaboration with the AD engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Cohesity SME, providing expert guidance and insights on Cohesity solutions.
- Collaborate with the Active Directory engineering team to design and implement an effective AD recovery strategy.
- Conduct thorough testing of the recovery solution to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Oversee the deployment of the AD recovery solution globally, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Provide documentation and training for the operational team post-deployment.
- After the successful production rollout, transition to an ongoing support role within Operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Cohesity technologies and solutions.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory concepts and architecture.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery processes, particularly for Active Directory.
- Ability to work independently and manage deliverables effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with engineering teams.
Deliverables:
- A comprehensive design and implementation plan for the AD recovery solution.
- Testing reports and documentation outlining the solution's functionality.
- Enablement materials for the Operations team to ensure seamless ongoing support.
