Private Funds Practice Attorneys - New York

Our client is a major international firm, seeking practice attorneys [off-track] for its global Private Investment Funds group in New York. The salary for this position is between $150k-$250 [which may vary depending on experience], with 30-35 hours/week.

Qualifications:

• Ideally 4+ years of fund experience on sponsor or LP side [subscription agreement completion for investment LP reviews into funds and GP side fund formations].
• Experience with entity dissolutions and cancellations, and SPV formations / aggregator formations.
• Handled interest reallocation work and transfers to estate planning vehicles (exhibits, etc.).
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills; team focused.
• State bar admission in jurisdiction of practice.

The practice advises leading alternative investment managers and institutional investors, with a particular emphasis on fund formation, portfolio investments, secondary transactions, regulatory, compliance and operational matters.
