Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Help Desk Specialist for a 4-week contract to assist with the migration of IT equipment across multiple sites in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT support and equipment migration, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the migration of IT equipment, including computers, servers, and networking devices, from one site to another.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues during the migration process.
- Ensure all equipment is properly configured and operational at the new site.
- Document and track all equipment movements and configurations.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure a smooth and efficient migration process.
- Communicate effectively with site personnel to coordinate migration activities and minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT support or help desk roles.
- Familiarity with hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Experience with IT equipment migration is a plus.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to travel between sites within Omaha, NE.
this position pays between $15-25/hr
