This position is a direct placement, full-time role with a trusted leader in water, mold, and fire damage restoration, proudly serving the residential, commercial, industrial, and medical industries. As a locally owned and operated business, they provide 24-hour emergency service across Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach, St. Johns County Beaches, and surrounding areas. Our highly trained team is passionate about responding quickly to help our customers restore their lives after unfortunate events.

Location
- Office located in Jacksonville, FL 32256. Service area within ~30 miles.
Hours / Schedule: Office hours are 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Open for emergency services 24/7. On-call rotation required.
Salary / Pay Range:
- $22-35/hr+ base pay, PLUS commission.
- Additional compensation and commissions available for referrals and on-call or emergency projects.

Position Detail
The Restoration Project Manager / Lead Technician is responsible for managing restoration and remediation projects from start to finish, including evaluating damage, creating estimates, serving as a liaison between customers and insurance carriers/adjusters, executing remediation plans, managing other technicians, and ensuring adherence to relevant industry and safety standards. The role requires technical skill and knowledge, hands-on experience, attention to detail, and a strong customer service orientation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage restoration and remediation projects and perform water, mold, and fire damage restoration tasks according to IICRC standards.
- Lead crews, perform hands-on setup, and operate equipment for drying, dehumidification, and air filtration.
- Complete detailed damage assessments and documentation.
- Communicate with clients regarding project progress and timelines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate PPE.
- Maintain routine and project-specific equipment and supplies, and assist with inventory management.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with IICRC standards, property and casualty insurance, and remediation/restoration project management and estimating.
- 2+ years of experience performing water, mold, and fire damage restoration and remediation tasks
- Proficiency with remediation and/or reconstruction software (Xactimate, DASH, MICA, Encircle, PSA, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in challenging environments.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- IICRC certifications (e.g., WRT, AMRT, ASD, FSRT, etc.).
- Experience using Xactimate software to prepare project estimates.
This position will report directly to operations/production management, working closely with senior company leadership. Success will be dependent on the ability to deliver on the deliverables; excellence in customer service, prompt response to support requests, and a willingness to execute with precision and quality all the duties outlined in the position description.
