Project Design Engineer
IntePros is looking for a Project Design Engineer to work a hybrid 3-days a week on-site work schedule in one of the following corporate office locations; Portland, OR, Columbus, OH, Herndon, VA, Atlanta, GA, Dallas, TX, Austin, TX, Minneapolis, MN, or Chicago, IL.
KEY SKILLS MANAGER IS LOOKING FOR ~
You must have either architectural education or 1-2 years of experience working as a designer in an architectural design firm.
Key responsibilities include managing documents for Division 1 specifications, which will be shared with all General Contractor (GC) partners. Additionally, the role involves overseeing proxy drawing management for future projects related to IGMP, prior to the finalization of site-specific drawings.
This project manager will be part of a construction estimation and analytics team whose territory includes all of North America and emerging countries.
Responsibilities:
• Develop processes, tools, and templates using Excel and Word for different project types as directed and trained.
• Gather data and validate and summarize it for future projects, maintaining a central repository.
• Validate and standardize historical construction cost data for integration into internal costing databases.
• Demonstrate proficiency in delving deep into provided metrics.
What are the top three MUST HAVE skill sets (technical) that are required?
· Ability to travel domestically and internationally for training, team building, and site visits.
· 2+ years’ experience as a project/program manager in architecture, construction, or engineering
· Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
What are the top three PREFERRED skill sets (technical)?
- MS Excel and MS Word advanced skills
- Passion for experience in analytics or data
- Ability to pick things up quickly and adapt to shifting priorities.
