POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities related to the operational efficiency of the market. They play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize property performance and ensure seamless operations. This position involves managing a team of property managers, coordinating with maintenance staff, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance property value, tenant and owner satisfaction, and overall operational effectiveness. Additionally, Directors of Operations may be involved in budgeting, cost control, and implementing policies to align with the company's objectives and industry standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit, train and develop your team. Provide coaching and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and quality.
- Develop and implement strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.

- Nurture and foster a client centric culture focused on exceeding expectations.
- Implement and drive adoption of policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across the market.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions to ensure staff are meeting performance standards
- Develop and manage the market budget, ensuring that expenses are controlled, revenue targets are met, and profitability is achieved.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement, cost savings, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication, coordination, and cooperation across the organization.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on regional performance, challenges, and opportunities.
- Manage escalations as needed.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role managing 8+ team members
- Proven ability to develop and implement operational strategies that enhance efficiency and improve service delivery across multiple departments.
- Strong understanding of financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with experience achieving financial targets.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges and implement effective solutions quickly.
- Experience in recruiting, training, and mentoring staff, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
- Ability to analyze performance data, set measurable goals, and drive continuous improvement across operational aspects.
