Junior Estimator (HVAC)

Location: Sacramento, CA

Compensation: $23 to $25 per hour (DOE)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Estimator with 2-5 years of experience and a solid background in HVAC to join our team in Sacramento. In this role, you will play a critical part in the bid estimation process, working closely with our estimating team to analyze project needs and ensure accurate, competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, bid requests, and other project documentation to prepare labor time, labor cost, subcontractor, material, and equipment cost estimates.
• Provide Mechanical, Controls & Plumbing/Piping take-off documentation and assist in the development of designs, budgets, bid estimates, and quotations.
• Contribute insights into bid strategies and recommend target markets to pursue.
• Support the full project estimating and bidding process to ensure project accuracy and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in estimating or related roles.
• HVAC experience is required.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with industry-standard estimating tools and software.
