About the Role
- In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth execution and coordination of technical projects. Hybrid Schedule: Office presence required 3 days/week
Location
- Houston, TX (no relocation)
Responsibilities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate the planning, project coordination, and completion of technical projects
- Coordinate project timeliness, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within budget
- Track project milestones and deliverables, providing regular updates
- Act as a central point of contact for project-related inquiries and information
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including technical specifications, project plans, and progress reports
- Facilitate effective communication and serve as liason between technical teams and departments
- Conduct reviews of technical documents, ensure compliance with established standards, manage references, update links throughout the document, establish templates, and PDF management
- Work with team to identify and address any resource constraints or challenges
- Assist in resource allocation and planning to meet project objectives
- Regulatory Administration including public notice, fee payment, and reporting
- Data room process management including content management and formatting, data room administration and meeting implementation
- New hire onboarding administration
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree (Environmental, Geology, or Engineering preferred)
- 5-10 years experience in a project coordinator role in the O&G or environmental industry
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Proficient in MS Office and project management tools
Preferred
- Familiarity with drilling operations, remote supervision, and well planning
- Technical writing experience
- GIS background
- Experience with permitting and regulatory
