Overview
- LHH is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to support two corporate attorneys - a partner and an associate. This is a new position within our client's firm, and the ideal candidate will have a solid background in corporate law, particularly with experience in closings. You will play crucial role in keeping our client's busy practice organized and efficient. The firm prides itself on providing a great work environment and positive culture!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with the preparation and review of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings.
- Conduct thorough legal research and gather relevant information to support corporate transactions.
- Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Prepare for client meetings by drafting minutes and resolutions, and assisting with other preparatory tasks.
- Monitor deadlines and help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Support corporate governance matters, including the maintenance of corporate records.
- Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders as necessary.
- Collaborate with the existing paralegal team to streamline processes and improve office operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
- 3+ years of experience as a corporate paralegal, with a proven track record of handling closings.
- Strong understanding of corporate law and legal terminology.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
- Ideal candidate will have experience in a large firm and seek a change of pace in a growing, dynamic environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on collaboration.

- Compensation: up to $90,000 annually
